The family of 21-year-old Jackson Lieber held a vigil at the Veterans Memorial Park Saturday evening while calling for answers.
Last month a liberty hill police officer shot and killed Lieber near a home north of town on FM 1869, just west of US 183.
This week the family of Lieber filed a lawsuit against the Liberty Hill police officer who shot and killed him.
They are calling for more answers from Liberty Hill police. The father of Jackson, Matthew Lieber, said to CBS Austin, “I want to know what happened, and day 30 of just being shocked, and struck about what happened to my boy.”
Jackson Lieber is remembered as a bright boy who had more potential than most people, he loved riding four-wheelers, playing video games, and working on his car. He played on the football team and soccer teams.
The Texas Rangers are currently investigating the Shooting.
